Jornada Cultural y de Toreo de salón alrededor de Picasso
The company Lances de Futuro has organized for Saturday, March 11, a cultural activity for children and families in La Malagueta around the figure of Picasso and bullfighting on the 50th anniversary of his death and the Corrida Picassiana. The activity will take place on March 11 at 12.00h in the bullring with free admission in collaboration with the Diputación de Málaga.
This activity will consist of a bullfighting workshop led by professionals and a painting contest where children will recreate in their own way the “Picasso bull”.
In addition, children will be able to enjoy an exhibition of rejoneo horses by a rejoneador.
“An open day for creativity, where children will be the protagonists and will be able to test their skills with capes and crutches and with the paintbrush,” adds Garzón.
Painting contest for children
For this, the company directed by José María Garzón, will install in the middle of the bullring of La Malagueta a series of easels, cardboards and white paints so that each attendee can draw a bull on his or her cardboard. “We want it to be a celebration of culture and bullfighting with the central theme of Picasso,” said Garzón.
The best drawings will be exhibited at the Corrida Picassiana on April 8, and among the prizes will be tickets for the Picassiana bullfight itself and gifts of season tickets.
Toreo de Salon Workshop with Eduardo Davila Miura
In addition to this activity there will be a bullfighting workshop, which will be developed jointly with Club de Aficionados Prácticos.
Amateurs and general public of all ages will be able to enjoy this bullfighting workshop for free. A workshop with a team of professionals led by the bullfighter Eduardo Dávila Miura.
